Our Story

True Tea is a woman-owned and woman-operated company founded by Katherine Harris in Portland, OR. Teas are sourced direct from farms located in ideal tea growing regions around the globe. The thoughtfully curated tea offerings represent everything we love about tea: freshness, traditions, medicinal benefits, and connection. Hope you steep and stay awhile. 

Vision

Redefine the tea landscape, advocating a transition from conventional tea bags to loose leaf tea for a more sustainable approach, eliminating harmful
microplastics. We educate tea enthusiasts about the importance of the freshness of specialty teas, which is celebrated for it’s
vibrancy and robust flavors.
