Zomba White Pearls

A prized tea from the Satemwa estate in Malawi, and an utterly unique style of tea made in limited quantities because of all the work that goes into it. Technically a white tea, this tea gets withered after picking and then rolled by hand by a group of dedicated women that have perfected this skill over time. Some natural oxidization occurs along the way, rounding out the florality and the fragrant stone fruit qualities of this tea into deeper notes of caramel and roasted peach. This tea works great both hot and iced.
