Introducing our first Ceremonial Matcha sourced directly from Uji, Japan. This Ceremonial Matcha is a single-origin, first-flush Gokou cultivar. The rich flavor comes out when Gokou is shadedfor more than 20 days. This matcha is sweet with hint of fruity flavor coming through in the end.
This is a lovely introduction to single cultivar matcha and we recommend preparing in a more traditional matcha way with just water.
Recipe: 2g matcha | 175F water | 3.4 ounces water
Steps:
Sift matcha into mixing bowl to avoid clumping.
Start by mixing in small amounts of hot water to create a paste.
Once it's sufficiently blended, add more hot water and whisk the matcha while focusing on creating a frothy texture.
