The True Tea Hojicha is a roasted green tea powder sourced directly from a family-owned farm from Uji, Japan. This hojicha is certified organic in Japan and ground using a stone-mill giving the powder an ultra-fine, smooth texture. 

Hojicha is great for several reasons. It is roasted at a high temperature, which is why it’s a golden, reddish color. Also, the roasting process lowers the level of caffeine and catechins, so it makes a great evening drink or dessert. Due to the low catechin level, it will not get bitter.
