Chasen, or matcha whisk, is a traditional tool made from bamboo used to prepare matcha tea. Whisking matcha creates a light, frothy texture and is an integral step in preparing the perfect serving of tea. 

Our chasen is hand-carved according to tradition. Before first use let it sit in hot water for a few minutes.
